The 2016 metallic summer trend and anything that shines is quite big this summer and there’s no better time to embrace it than now, as it’s fitting for the festive season.
What I love most about it, is that it’s so versatile and you can wear it any way you want. Whether you’re going for a high-fashion, grungy or sporty look, it works for all. It’s not the first time this trend comes back since the 80’s,it was really big back in 2014 too.
I prefer simple colours but I found the perfect way to wear this trend. I was never a fan of culottes, a.k.a. wide leg pants for those that don’t know,, as I was always insecure about my curves, but once I saw them in this metallic colour, I was sold.
I got them from Zara, but before you freak out, let me just tell you that they were really affordable. Trafaluc is a brand that Zara sells and it has become one of my favourite because it’s affordable and it still has that expensive, bougie, Zara feel to it.
I tried to incorporate the metallic trend with other summer ’16 trends too. There’s the sporty look, some blush pink too-which is one of my favourite- and there’s the pajama by day look too.
Sorry for the delay in posts but I’m having some technical issues which I’m still trying to sort out, but I hope you enjoy this.
